History-
Francis was born in the seas of the Kanto region, near Cinnabar Island. He never stood out much, especially because he was a tentacool, after all, and not many are fond of them period. He was just one of the crowd, moving with the group, feeding with the group, fleeing from danger with the group- it was a fairly boring existance, but he did not know any better. He was only a few mounths old when he met his Jullie. He was traveling (with the group lol) near Fushia City on a nice sunny day when it halpened. They saw the usual human fishermen with their rods and avoided them as usual. Normal. But there was something not normal about it. Francis noticed that there was another human there, a girl whom wore a white coat and carried a clipboard. Francis was intriged by this odd human and, after being out of character and abandoning the group, swam right up to her. She seemed fasinated with the jellyfish and she gave him treats and even managed to have him come close enough to pet him. Francis loved it; he had never had attention individually before and soon he was visiting the lady on a daily buisness. She introduced herself as Jullie and told him about how she studied Pokemon, far and wide. She wove a world of unknown places and mysterious beings, capturing his wonder. Francis was soon dreaming of adventure and new things to be learned- oh, how exciting the world seemed!
But Francis was stuck in his ocean world and Jullie could see how it dragged the Tentacool down. So one day when they had been spending time together for many weeks and were very close, Jullie asked Francis to come with her to explore the world. He was so thrilled- of course he agreed! And they were off, going from the North to the South to the East and then the West, exploring and learning as much as they could of the Kanto region. Francis never went into a pokeball, instead riding upon Jullie's shoulders or in a huge fishtank she bought just for him. The scientist always took water bottles or spray bottles with her to keep her dear Francis moist. It was the perfect life for him. There were some times that Jullie even tried teaching Francis to read and write, but his tentacles proved unreliable, and they soon dropped the project. Francis would just have to deal with helping gather research and he sure did.
Along the way the duo were forced to battle many threatening Pokemon and it was not too long until Francis evolved! He was only a few years old, but he had a world of knowledge within him. Jullie and Francis made an amazing team, feirce even if they would rather read a book together than battle. They had become amazingly close after spending so long together. However, their time together came to a dreadful end. Jullie had been doing fantastic in her job and had been promoted. In fact, she was being sent to the Johto region. But there were a few conditions- or one in perticular- including that she was not allowed to bring pokemon from an outside region. Francis was devestated, but he knew very well how much Jullie's job meant to her. He convinced her that he would be okay and returned to his old home near Cinnibar. Of course he was saddened to return, but he was well received at least. His entire old group were still in their basic stage and nearly worshipped Francis for his evolved state. But he was no longer at home in the wild. He had become a researcher, a scientist, on his journies, and he couldn't just forget that. He felt more like a human than a dumb pokemon.
And so, Feancis abandoned his old home, and set off for none other than the Johto region. He arrived at the harbor near Olivine City before trouble struck- he was captured. Francis was horrified at the thought of belonging to a pokemon TRAINER. What if she teied to make him battle?? But, alas, he was simply boxed. He didn't even get to actually meet his new trainer before put into the PC System. It was a sad but common fate for his species and it saddened the Tentacruel. However, he was released a few short weeks later, but it was no celebration. The Epidemic had come.
Francis was released into the Olivine Port where he was captured and the duel type was horrified at what he saw- humans fleeing and pokemon attacking their beloved partners, their eyes glowing a deadly red. Francis fled, he never even knew his trainer and couldn't help her even if he did. He returned to his old home, by Cinnibar, but it was a wasteland. Those monsters had overrun his home. Francis had no choice but to continue moving. He missed the days with Jullie. Things had been so simple.
So easy.
User Note-
-Based upon my Francis whome I caught during my SS Nuzlocke c:
- Much smaller than average Tentacruel
-Frightened easily
-Much more of a thinker than a fighter and rarely will fight back unless his life is in danger
-Envious of humans and their ability to hold penncils and write, read, and all that
-Extremely awkward around woman <3
-Really dislikes nicknames like Frankie or Frank as he beleives that it makes him seem less intelligent
-Cracks caused by one encounter with a Snorlax while with Jullie

History-
I don't want to say goodbye. His heartbeats seem to have slowed down as he closed his eyes in defeat. There had to be some way out of this, some way to make things better! But the Magikarp lay on his side on the wooden raft helplessly, his only partner dying next to him. How could his mate die from dehydration, when they were surrounded by thousands of miles of water?
Leviathan had been caught by a trainer so very long ago, an avid fish lover. Together with his trainer and fellow water types, they all had their dreams and wishes - they all put something into their team that made it as it was. And what they got out of their growing bond was a reassurance that they would have each others backs, a trust that was sure would not be broken.
Despite being rather weak, the trainer placed Lev in his primary team, staking out into the seas, determined to find some meaning in his life. It was only after numerous and multiple nights under the stars that the trainer had realized he was missing the entire thing; what he needed the most was a purpose, something to drive him forward. And with a glance at his Pokemon, the trainer found that he already had a purpose. They would strive to become stronger. Together.
The Magikarp knew not what he would see, knew not what he would learn, but years later as he and his team heard radio broadcasts about an infection raking across the land, the first idea that came to each of them was to escape to the waters. It was their homeland, an area they knew like the beating of their heart. "We can outlive this epidemic out on the seas." Lev's heart beat with such ferocity, but he did not lose hope.
It was only after all his teammates died from protecting them, and as he watched his trainer die from unpreparedness, that Leviathan felt his world stop moving.
I don't want to say goodbye.
Friends who taught him to be strong, to stand for himself, and to love - they had died without bidding adieu. The fish held onto their memories for however long he could, his heart being torn apart as he was forced to leave the ones he had come to love.
... goodbye... Leviathan dropped back into the water, the liquid moving in rapid currents as his thoughts were. He was lost, confused, and above all, scared.
Just what chances does a Magikarp have in surviving?
User Note-
- He is a closet gay, but because he's so emotionally frail, he rarely tells anyone
- Low self-esteem, but is willing to help others
- Trainer did not want him to evolve
- Adopted
