History	An egg born in captivity, for generations back her species had been raised and bred in a facility business men used to make money. However, due to a secret scandal regarding her conceiving, the Kabuto egg was immediately removed from the rest. The egg itself was discoloured, causing the breeders to fear disease. Throwing it into the black market stream, they were relieved not to see it return. The egg was fortunate enough to never stay with one human long enough to hatch; for days she was sold and purchased, sold and purchased, each merchant and black trader not wanting to keep the sickly coloured egg in case it proved the opposite of prosperous. It was when a scammer took up route near Pewter City that she finally found a home. A novice trainer only had three other Pokemon in her team when being flagged down to the side of the road by the guile looking man. He presented the egg and whispered lies of being from a secret, far off region, of being unbelievably powerful and rare. Not fooled in the least, the woman did agree to take the egg. Despite the outrageous amount she had to pay, the trainer was sure that the Pokemon inside deserved a better life than living with he scammer, and was grateful she could safely hatch t in her hands. Only a few hours later did it hatch, revealing a small baby Pokemon she recognised as a Kabuto. Shocked at the blindingly green shell, the trainer was thrilled once assuring everyone that the baby was healthy as could be. Introducing her team thus far, the Kabuto learned the trainer's name was Denis, with a male Charmeleon, a male Scyther, and a male Hoothoot. The bird had been a gift from a far away friend in Johto, a place she wanted to visit someday. Lovingly dubbed the Dome, or D, by Denis, the Kabuto adored her trainer, and in turn the human let the fossil 'mon stay out of her Pokeball and ride in her arms. From that time on, Denis spent years catching and raising various Pokemon, until she eventually earned all 8 of Kanto's Gym Badges. By then D had fully evolved, along with her other Pokemon, and was a loyal member of Denis' family. They took on the Pokemon League, but to their dismay were easily beaten. Discouraged, Denis made the decision to head to Johto, further her dream, and beat that League instead. Many more years passed until the team was in their forties, growing strong slowly but surely. Denis finally took on the Johto League, and to her team's joy, they swept effortlessly through. Overjoyed, the Dome partied with the rest of her Pokemon, the old friends she had come to love and care for. Hearing rumors of an even further step to being a Pokemon Master, Denis learned the name Red for the first time. He was a Pokemon legend, said to occupy the head of Mount Silver. Fortified by the challenge, Denis and her six strongest prepared for a long time...before heading to the foot of the massive mountains. Determined but undaunted, D was allowed to stay out of her ball and along side her trusted human partner as they worked their way through caves for months at a time. Most of the time the journey seemed endless and too harsh, even making the Dome believe they were hopelessly lost, but then they would find a way out of the cave and trudge on. Everything came to a screeching halt when Denis slipped while making her way with D along a dangerous edge. Falling and sliding over a ledge, her leg snapped, breaking violently as the older woman could not take the height of the fall. Not carrying any flying Pokemon, Denis turned to D, begging her lifelong friend to go down the mountain and get help. Terrified for her trainer but determined to do well, the Kabutops agreed and made her way through the mountain in record time. The worst happened when she reached the building at the foot of the mountain, discovering that no human was left. Seeing the horrible effects of the virus, she was chased away from the land around the mountain. She has been unable to reach it again due to the infected, but still desperately believes that one day she might still be able to return. For now, however, she has been focusing on surviving, for Denis if nothing else, spending her time traveling fast and avoiding cities.
Appearance	A dignified Pokemon, even in her old age, the fiery personality that kept her moving her entire life shows in how tall and proud this 'mon holds herself. Arms always ready to strike, and a hard look to her eyes, intimidating is an understatement when first seeing her. Body marred from a life of harsh battling, dints in her natural armor are visible in places. Her shiny colouration has dulled over time, no longer the bright, attention grabbing neon colour as a light emerald shade now. Small, slit irises are a shade of soft tan, should anyone notice if they came close enough. The firm frown always prominent deters onlookers from commonly making comments or asking unneeded questions.
Personality	PROS:: Intelligent, fast, strategist, loyal, leader, confident CONS:: Blunt, violent, cold, cynical, untrusting, pessimist, stubborn, cocky, argumentative, intimidating NEUTRAL:: Loves the rain -She does not take orders from anyone, and will be mutinous when faced with such. The only one she will listen to is Denis. -She tends to speak very softy. -Despite her older age, she does not let that slow her down. Having lived a life of training and pushing her body to the limit, she is none the weaker due to her age....just experienced. -She loves a good fight, and nothing earns her respect faster than either a close battle or a very well thought out play of strategies. -She finds the infected and undead disgusting, and despises them with a burning passion. Will react violently to anyone she learns is infected.
User Notes	-Inspired by the Twitch Plays Pokemon obsession with the Helix fossil, based off of my own in game mon. <3 -Her name is the Dome, but will allow herself to be called D. However, she will not tell anyone that, only let them learn it on their own. She will react violently to anyone calling her anything other than those two names, the only exception being her species name. -Her mother was a Kabutops, her father a Crawdaunt. Her father belonged to one of the men caring for the breeding Kabutops, and had a secret affair. This could be the cause for her shiny shell, it is unknown nor proven. -The Dome is smaller and slimmer than average Kabutops, probably adding to her unnatural speed and agility. In battle she always opens up with a rain Dance, using the terrain to move fast and strike hard. -There was no way Denis would have been able to challenge Red. It was only mere rumors that she listened to before blindly running off, and the best she could have hoped for would be that they were true, but there was no proof he was or had ever been there.
