History	Only a pup, but a huge pup. His egg was much larger than usual and he was a tall, stocky pup. He was hatched in a place with many others of his kind, Poochyena running around yelping with their Mightyena mothers. He himself snuggled up against his mother, enjoying the warmth brought when he lay in the curve of her tummy. She soon named him Bear Cub, or Cub for short. Cub grew up fast in the wilds of his home, a wide ranged Mightyena and Poochyena pack in the forests of Hoenn. The pups were all raised together and Cub soon proved his worth, being a hunter and protector that the pack was proud of. He never knew his father, as he had left the pack as soon as he had joined, but Cub nor his mother minded - they were happy and that was all that mattered to the two of them. After a few months of rigorous training in the harsh of the wilds, Bear Cub evolved and with him his name, becoming merely Bear to those around him. Bear was simply huge compared to the rest of those in his pack - Bear's mother told him it was due to his father but would never disclose what Pokemon he was - and easily gained the respect of his peers that way. He was loyal and intelligent, always hunting and taking care of the pack before thinking of himself. Bear was perfectly  content in this way, but life soon took a turn for the worst. In the harsh winter of their forest home, Bear's mother came down with a terrible cough. She was no longer very young and the sickness ravaged her frail body. To Bear's dismay and horror, his mother died before the snow had even stopped coming down. This, however, did not break the pup, instead the Mightyena became more and more engrossed in his work with the pack. He soon came of a higher rank in the pack until he was directly underneath the Alpha, a few years old by then and making up with lack of experience with pure brute strength. Bear was out hunting by himself one late morning, hunting a Zigzagoon to bring back home to feed his pack when it happened. Just as the Dark type lunged at his unsuspecting prey, there was a loud cry and a huge canine Pokemon tackled him. Before he could even realize what was happening, Bear was knocked out. Upon waking up he was in a human building with the striped orange dog next to him. He introduced himself as Jared, explaining that he was an Arcanine, a Pokemon native to the Kanto region. Jared also explained to Bear the expectations of their trainer to be very strong and fight well, being obedient, and never losing. The trainer soon proved those to be his only rules in life, training Bear and Jared until they literally fainted from exhaustion. Bear lost some but won his cruel fights a majority of the time and for a few years survived like that. He earned many battle scars and a cold attitude from his training and the treatment of his human. He was a harsh man, not allowing most wounds to heal so that Bear would have battle scars, and never showing Jared or Bear any real affection. It was fight or be left behind so they fought. However, life changed again for the matured Mightyena when Jared started acting odd. He would become weak very easily and snap blindly at both their trainer and Bear himself. When taken to the doctor's many times, it was explained to his trainer and Bear that Jared had a tumor in his brain, effecting his body and taking his eye sight. After one more doctor's visit, Jared never came home. With just Bear as his only Pokemon, the human decided to retire as a trainer, sending Bear off to a woman in the Sinnoh region who was begging to take him home. Saying that Bear was displeased would be an understatement. The strong old wolf had to be sedated before anyone was able to put him in his Pokéball. By the time he came to, he was already on a boat heading to his new 'home' and there was no reason to continue resisting. The woman that he came to live with had her residence in Hearthome, a great city with a many places to explore and train, but Bear was stubborn. He refused to listen to her in any way, shape, or form, even going as far as to sleep outside in the bitter cold as to show that she had not won. In all truth he was hurt and grieving, from losing his lifelong companion and his trainer within a week. His whole way of life- shattered. It would put any Pokemon in a foul state of mind. His new owner noticed his depressed behavior and tried to cheer him up, taking Bear exploring and even bribing the man at the Amity Square gates as to allow her and Bear to go on strolls together. Bear was still bitter about not having Jared or his dangerous life style anymore, but his new trainer was slowly growing on him. As to give her pokemon something to do, she took the Hoenn Pokemon to the Contest Hall there in the city, experimenting to see if he would like it. The first several times, Bear just got frustrated and abandoned the Contests ...however, soon he was starting to catch on, despite his age not as young as he would prefer, and his trainer and him soon bested everyone in the city. They became famous, everyone loving the Mightyena! His spiked harness and many battle scars just made him even more lovable in the Contests, and Bear soon started to let his heart open to the past time. After a few years of winning the most challenging Contests held there, Bear and his trainer were approached by a man whom made them an offer. He told them about him being a well known movie producer and his interest in the duo - he wanted to feature a movie around them! And that was how Bear's movie career started. At first the people were worried about him, thinking that a huge battle scarred Dark-type would not be trustworthy, but Bear opened up to those he worked with. The Mightyena was full of energy and took his job very seriously. He listened and did what he was told and soon became a sensation. People from all over watched and adored his acting! Of course Bear never complained. By then he was very old and had a deep bond with his second trainer. However, everything went sour when the broadcasting started warning everyone about Pokemon rising from the dead. Everyone was told to release their partners at once. Of course Bear out right refused to abandon his trainer - he already list one and sure as hell wasn't losing another! But she had no choice. With tears streaming down her face, the kind-hearted woman commanded Bear to leave. When he stubbornly refused, she mock charged and screamed at him to leave, her voice cracking as she lied about no longer loving or wanting the old dog. They both knew that she meant nothing she said and it broke Bear's old heart. And with a final mourning look, he limped away into the wild, his heart raw and bleeding once more. He was able to keep most infected at bay thanks to his superior level and battle training ingrained into his body, but he was old and not as fast as he used to be. He needed to find a place to avoid the undead... Or maybe just a few friends. A few friends who wouldn't mind helping a grumpy, old dog.
Appearance	A large and stocky Mightyena with a harness lined with several sharp spikes wrapped around his neck and torso. He has bright green eyes and scars on his two front limbs, left thigh and left hind limb.
Personality	Bear is the equivalent of an old, grumpy man; he loves to complain about how kids these days don't know anything about the past, his 'aching bones' and how disrespectful this generation is. He does not take orders well, is very stubborn and snappy. However he has a soft spot for the young and innocent but only shows it in vague ways. He also has a rather dark sense of humour.
